Pros +
- So this place looks like a great 70's design updated to 90's? Feels really spacious - big junior suite which was great (2 toilets!) - everything you need. We stayed 4 nights. Location is about 15 mins by bus (stop outside hotel) from central station but quite well serviced with Family mart, French bakery, and restaurant nearly next door. They do dinner some nights - our bouillabaisse was alright and waiter tried hard. Having windows that open (see I told you it was older style) is great! Very polite reception staff.
- The room we had was a suite. It was a clean and very comfortable place to hang out when we needed a quiet place to relax after sightseeing. The staff were very helpful and tried to communicate as best as possible in English. The buffet breakfast was generous and delicious.
- Huge parking area which is so convenient. The hotel is quite grand, the rooms are larger than a usual business hotel, the windows open so you can get some fresh air. The staff are very friendly and helpful, with good English for those who do not speak Japanese.
Cons -
- Actual name is a little confusing - everyone knows it as Kokusai International. Restaurant a bit pricey and not very inviting, so didn't bother.
- We needed a taxi to take us everywhere since there wasn’t much happening near the hotel, just a busy thoroughfare. The room had a peculiar odor of mildew.
- No facilities like swimming pool, gym and onsen.

Friendly staff , it's quiet, free parking space, a big family mart across the road, near by big supermarket, not too far to downtown by car.
No facilities like swimming pool, gym and onsen.
A big car park can suit the guests with self drive vehicles and always see the public taxi waiting outside, that's helpful if need a car
Not much i can complain except the location a bit far from business center
I liked the comfortable room and the breakfast. The front desk staff were always pleasant and helpful.
The restaurant had limited offering and quite pricey.
A very disappointing hotel- for what is supposed to be a four-star hotel where we paid in excess of £200 for the night- our room was very small- and cramped they did not even provide water which we usually get in every hotel in Japan even budget hotels. My wife and I are both vegetarian when we went for the evening meal we were told there was only one meal on the menu rice and shrimp and they were not able to alter it to make it vegetarian--what restaurant only has one meal on the menu ???
The room was small cramped, expensive and very dark the restaurant did not provide anything for vegetarians- and the location is quite a bit outside the main centre-- so not possible to walk anywhere interesting
Walkable from the train line. Clean rooms and good value for the price. The staff were professional.
It's a nice hotel. The food of the breakfast is quite good. The room is comfortable. The staff is nice and friendly.
Beautiful welcoming hotel. Although a bit out of the way, the bus stop right outside of the hotel was very convenient. Able to catch the bus from the JR station straight to the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, was a pleasure staying at the hotel, will definitely be back.
Had to arrange early booking for dinner, one day before. Not convenient for tourist, do not have definite plans to confirm a day before whether we would be at the hotel in time for dinner.
Large car parking lot and free. Quiet. Hotel nearby has restaurant. Nice Hotel breakfast.
no onsen.

This stay was the worst I ever had in Japan.I felt like I was fooled. From the lobby of a fancy hotel we were led to an adjacent building, which took a long way - we had to go to the second floor and then use the stairs to get to the first floor again, and every time we went outside we had to take that route. We thought we were getting a smaller and simpler room in a fancy hotel to stay during our anniversary trip, but we got a shabby business hotel experience instead. We got a teeny-room, which looked like a single room in a cheap business hotel, and everything looked really worn down. I will attach photos, it’s ridiculous - even my partners pajama set had a whole in it. Dirty gray bathroom floor, pillowcase with traces on it, walls with black scratches and all for 20 000 yen? Are you serious? (I got the discount of 2000 yen from the booking.com so it was 18468 yen). What I expect for that price? Well even if the room is tiny at least it has to be impeccably clean, with no visible signs of wearing off on the furniture, walls, etc. The hairdryer was really weak and small. Spots on the pillowcase and sheets, on the chair fabric, etc, etc. No respect to the client, charging double of the market price for what we got.
Very good
no shuttle pick up from the station and the name was TAKAMATSU INTERNATIONAL HOTEL and not as shown Takamatsu KOKUSAI Hotel which was misleading to first time guests who drove.
Although the room is not big, but very clean and comfortable, next time I will choose again.
Breakfast was quite ok. The staff at the reception was very helpful.
Our room was definetely too small for three people. An additional bed had been brought in. The qualitiy of that bed was insufficiant. The room should not be offered as a guest room for three people.
Landry machine Location
Request an extra coffee packet, but front desk staff told us will be charged. Room is too small for two. Only good for single person.
Excellent! Very clean and cozy environment, friendly and helpful staff, smooth check in and out, the breakfast included is simply amazing, highly recommended accommodation in takamatsu, thanks a lot!
Nil
Very easy to find, simple check-in with real people rather than machines and instructions, comfy beds, quiet, and a carpark right out the front. We had a car which made this very convenient. Not sure how close it is to public transport but not far from the city centre.
Room was fairly compact as are most in Japan but was fine.
Convenient location, comfortable, classy hotel.Professional and helpful staff. We would stay here again.
Lack of restaurants around the hotel
Good location 7/11 across the road. Free parking. Friendly staff breakfast was good they make u omelet’s
Rooms very small compared to so many we have stayed out. Two singles squeezed together and another single at the ends of both the other beds. No room to more with bags.
